Lottery for the Arts

Precarious, 18"x14", oils on archival panel

Precarious has been juried into this year's Lottery for the Arts at Blue Line Arts in Roseville, California.

This is a fundraising event designed for art enthusiasts to acquire original works of fine art by professional artists. All support goes directly to the funding of education and outreach programs at Blue Line Arts.

Precarious is my donation for this year's event. Very happy to be a part of this fundraiser every year. The inspiration for the "prop stack" series came from cleaning out the prop cupboard one day. I removed various pieces of silver and kept stacking them on the table behind me as I sorted pieces of tarnished silver. The Tarnished Collection grew into its own portfolio on the website.
