PBS KVIE Art Auction

I just received notice today that Tea Leaves has not only been accepted for this year's PBS KVIE Annual Art Auction but it has won a Still Life Award. The auction will take place in October. It has been my pleasure to donate work each year in support of public broadcasting, as well as educational and cultural programs. All works chosen will be showcased during a live televised/streamed auction along with their virtual gallery and physical display. Artworks will be on display at the KVIE Station  September 1st through 30th. The live televised auction will be held October 2nd through 4th. Always an exciting event! You can see all of the art online prior to the action and bidding is now open: KVIE PBS Art Auction

As the bidding ended I received a phone call letting me know that there were 35 bids on this painting and the winning bid was $2400. Congratulations to the new owner of this Still Life Oil Painting. Please know how much you are appreciated.

Thank you Jill Estroff, curator, and to the Awards Judge Leslie McCarron for selecting Tea Leaves for a Still Life Award. It has been my pleasure to donate work these past few years.

For over 40 years, professional artists throughout the region have donated their art to the annual PBS KVIE Art Auction. Over 270 artworks are selected and showcased on-air for bidding during the live auction. Regional framers, art experts, arts educators, and dedicated volunteers make this event possible with their support each fall. All proceeds benefit PBS KVIE.
