Professional Oils on Raymar Linen Panel 10 x 8 Available
Endless Summers. I spent a lot of time picking strawberries when I was a kid. That and many other chores around the farm. The row of strawberries was at least 5 feet wide so you had to wade right in the middle of it to get the berries picked. The garden had extremely long rows - it seemed as if they were a half mile long. It was hot and humid, as only a Michigan summer can be. It was sticky work and we were constantly slapping the mosquitoes away. Bucket after bucket of berries were picked throughout the ripening season. It did have its sweet rewards though. No one could make strawberry shortcake biscuits like my mother did. And we had enough strawberry jam "put up" for the whole winter.
Strawberry Summers was inspired by old cupboard panel doors which were a recent "find".
