Days End

Days End - inspired by an old wooden palette. I can't help but wonder who used this palette and think about what they painted. It is nice to have it hanging on the wall here in the studio space. It is paired with vintage brushes from my collection. At the end of the day we clean the brushes are prep them for work tomorrow. This was actually a study taken to completion for a larger work.

Very pleased that Days End has been juried into Realism on the Hudson, a small works show and sale at The Howland Cultural Center, Beacon, New York, in the heart of the Hudson River Valley. The exhibition will run March 2nd through April 14th. Sincere thanks to the American Artists Professional League and the jurors.
