Salesman Samples, Alternate titles: Arms, Legs, and Spindles; Among Friends; Chairs that Tell Tales. Painted on a whim, but I suppose all of my paintings are based on a whim. This really began as a whisper of an idea. I've rounded up my collection of miniature chairs, several from doll houses, for this set up. It took me quite a while to get a composition I was comfortable with. Very pleased with the results.
This painting was featured in the 2025 Mother Lode Exhibition.
This painting is also featured in the American Artists Professional League's online exhibition that runs from February 28th through April 28th, 2026. My thanks to the jury!
Very pleased that Salesman Samples has not only been juried into the American Women Artists 2026 Annual Online Juried Exhibition, but it has won the OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN STILL LIFE AND INTERIORS AWARD!
