Summer Riot of Zinnias — So named by the German Botanist Johann Gottfried Zinn. Zinnias seem like such old fashioned flowers to me. I remember both my grandmothers grew them in their southern gardens. I wish they were perennials and came back every year without replanting. All of these colors sure make for a happy garden!
