The New Year is unfolding like a long, untraveled road stretching out in front of us. I always like new beginnings, a fresh start, a blank canvas. It speaks of possibility. I did not rip into the New Year ~ I'm taking it slower, thinking more about the basics, the techniques, the small set ups to hone in on certain areas and seeking out instruction for things I still need to develop. I always want to know more.

Early Morning, detail

Stepping back, taking stock, cleaning the studio, all things that I feel need to happen before moving forward in the New Year. Then I'll be ready to step out onto that untraveled road. Because that road is calling, no doubt. Cheers to your own fresh start as the year begins to unwind.
