These apples were intended for an apple pie ~ but you know what they say about the best made plans. . . as the days rolled by I just used them in a different way. The leaves on the branch had started to dry and curl, but they held up long enough to serve their purpose. One of the workers at the orchard let me cut a few branches when I explained that I wanted them to use in a painting. The old weathered tin is a relic from the farm days.
